Growth Groups provide a great opportunity to develop authentic relationships, discuss practical applications of scriptures in our lives, and connect with a broader purpose as we all strive to grow in our faith and work through our questions and everyday living.Growth Groups are a safe place to listen to scripture and to one another in a way that helps us all draw out both deep and practical truths from God’s word. Even if Christianity is new for you (or new again)… GWC Growth Groups aim to be an environment that will encourage you to grow wherever you are in your faith. We have several groups for you to choose from. Each group is facilitated by some amazing volunteer leaders in the Greater Wilmington Church. Hi, welcome to our Growth Group; we are a group that consists of people mainly 60+ years of age from all walks of life and varying interests, and we meet at our building (3801 Wilshire Blvd.) on Wednesdays at 3:00pm. We like playing games, discussing the Bible (currently we are spending the next couple of months in the book of Acts), and meeting new people. Join us...we welcome all ages.

The Campus Ministry is a welcoming group of students from UNCW and Cape Fear Community College who are passionate about growing in their faith. We meet Mondays at 7 PM at UNCW for Bible Talk, enjoy weekly activities, and attend church together Sundays at 10 AM at 3801 Wilshire Blvd—often followed by lunch. We’re focused on building strong relationships with God, Jesus, and each other through studying the Bible. Join us—we welcome all college students looking for faith, friendship, and community.

Our growth group is culturally diverse with people ranging from 30s to 60s. We meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday nights at 7pm on Zoom. The kids in our group range from 1 to 6 years old. We have people living in Ogden, Downtown, Leland, and the Riverlights community. We enjoy potlucks, game nights, prayer times, and deep Bible discussions. We welcome you to join us on Zoom.
